Loss of $7 million to CNG station owners

Mohsen Johari, the head of the CNG Trade Association

By focusing on CNG, it is possible to replace up to 20 million liters of gasoline daily without the government investing a single penny.

He mentioned the inconvenience caused by the closure of CNG stations due to a few days of increased gas consumption in the country.

Before the recent closure, we had a daily loss of $7 million because the reduction of 7 million cubic meters of CNG per day led to an equivalent increase in gasoline consumption of 7 million liters. Moreover, the closure of the stations caused significant damage to the CNG station owners, and we have requested the government to compensate for the incurred losses.
