Member of the Parliament’s Energy Commission: We have no choice but to import gasoline
Hadi Beigi Nejad, a member of the Parliament’s Energy Commission, stated that the reality is the discussion about importing gasoline has raised concerns because consumption has approached the level of production. In fact, according to the Deputy Minister of Oil, the country’s gasoline production over the past two weeks has been about 112 million liters, while consumption has been about 102 million liters. Since this gap has become very narrow, if we continue in this direction, consumption will surpass production, and then we will have no choice but to import gasoline.
