Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has announced it will cut 10,000 of its staff.

This is the second round of mass layoffs by this tech giant.

Meta had laid off 11,000 of its employees in the fall of this year.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, described the reduction of staff as difficult.

Mr. Zuckerberg told employees in a memo that he believes Meta faced a revenue decline in 2022.
