The spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry, Mines, and Trade stated that the car import process has begun. Companies eligible under the car import regulations must submit their applications to the Ministry by September 10th. By approximately the beginning of October, we will announce which companies are qualified for car importation. After the start of October, car imports will be possible, but other conditions such as customs clearance, currency allocation, and other matters will take time. If everything goes well, we can expect to see imported cars by December.
