More than three million Germans do not use the internet

Currently, many services, including banking transactions and buying and selling goods, are largely conducted online. However, this is a challenge for at least 6% of German citizens who do not use the internet.

According to the German Federal Statistical Office, about 6% of people aged 16 to 74 in this country have never used the internet, which amounts to a population of 3.4 million people.

Based on this report, the highest number is in the age group of 65 to 74 years. According to the Federal Statistical Office, 17% of these individuals have never used the internet. Additionally, in the age group of 45 to 64 years, 5% have never used the internet. This statistic is only 2% among those under 45 years old.
