Nasser Kanaani described an American official’s remarks about Iran’s elections as meddlesome.

Following remarks by a senior American official about the presidential elections, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry described these remarks as meddlesome.

Abram Paley, the Deputy Special Representative of the U.S. government on Iran, wrote on the X network that while the Iranian government prepares for its presidential elections, unfortunately, the United States does not expect a free and fair election to be held.

Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, reacted on the same social network, writing that the meddlesome remarks of the U.S. Deputy Special Representative on Iran regarding our country’s presidential elections are nonsense and a clear act of interference.

He claimed that the integrity and health of holding elections in Iran have also been proven in previous votes.
