Oil prices hit their lowest level
Oil prices fell by nearly 3% and reached their lowest level since before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. This happened as economic data indicates concerns about a potential global recession.
International benchmark Brent crude oil contracts ended trading close to the nearest expiration with a decrease of $2.76 or 2.9%, reaching $92.34 per barrel. During this session, the contract fell to $91.71 per barrel, the lowest since February 18.
