The CEO of the Alborz Regional Water Company said that the storage of the Taleqan Dam has reached 41% and the Karaj Dam is at 31%

Davood Najafian, CEO of the Alborz Regional Water Company, pointed out that last year’s winter rainfall was good. He stated that although we did not have a rainy autumn last year, the winter rainfall of 2022 increased by 26% compared to the same period in 2021.

He explained that these rains have somewhat alleviated the water crisis concerns in Alborz, and expressed hope that from the end of this month until the end of spring, we will have good rainfall in the province to compensate for some of last autumn’s rainfall shortage.
