Parliament Member: We Pray for Officials' Children to Fall Ill to Need Medicine

A member of parliament says we should pray for the children of officials to fall ill so they will need medicine.

Hossein Ali Shahriari, the head of the Health and Treatment Commission of the parliament, said in his open session speech that the main issue is the people’s livelihood.

The president has raised two issues, stating that we will protect the people’s lives and bread, but unfortunately, neither the people’s bread has been preserved so far nor their lives. The people’s tables have not just shrunk, they have become empty.

In the healthcare sector, we also have many problems and are witnessing a significant shortage of medicine. We must pray for the children of officials to become ill so they will need medicine and seriously think about solving the people’s medication problems.
