People's Purchasing Power Has Shrunk Even Compared to One and a Half Months Ago

The purchasing power of the people has dwindled even compared to a month and a half ago.

According to a report from Ruydad 24, citing the eighty-sixth economic report of the electronic payment network known as Shaparak, transactions related to card readers or online payments in August of this year decreased by 14% in number and 13% in amount compared to July. In August of this year, monthly inflation grew by 2%, but simultaneously with this inflation growth, the number of transactions decreased, and in fact, people’s purchases through card readers or online gateways have dwindled.
