Possibility of Flooding in Tehran: People Should Stay Away from Riverbanks

There is a possibility of flooding in Tehran; people should stay away from the riverbanks.

Hamed Yazdi Mehr, the Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran Province, stated that based on weather forecasts, from Sunday afternoon to Wednesday, the growth of convective clouds and scattered showers are expected.

He added that the affected area of the predicted system includes the slopes and heights in the north of Tehran Province, especially the northeastern heights.

The Director General of Crisis Management of Tehran Province warned people to stay away from rivers due to the possibility of water runoff, flooding in some pathways, and the potential for seasonal rivers and waterways to become flooded.
