Radan: Necessary actions are being taken against celebrities protesting the hijab
The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic’s Law Enforcement Force once again threatened on Thursday evening that judicial cases will be filed against women and girls who, according to him, remove their hijab on social media or against individuals who encourage others and promote being unveiled.
Ahmadreza Radan, speaking to reporters in Qom Province, mentioned the actions of the law enforcement force to confront women who refuse to comply with mandatory hijab, stating that online cases are pursued through the plan known as ‘Supervisor Four’.
He added that in this regard, judicial cases have been filed against some celebrity figures, and the necessary actions are being taken.
The Mizan News Agency, affiliated with the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic, announced on June 12 that summonses for trial have been issued for cinema and television actresses Azadeh Samadi and Leila Bolukat due to unveiling.
