Rostam Ghasemi: Housing cannot be built in one year

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development, while expressing dissatisfaction with government agencies, said that so far only 4% of the lands of these agencies have been allocated to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, and the rest have belonged to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.

Ghasemi stated in a television program regarding the actions taken in the housing sector over the past year that the existing gap in the housing sector was due to the lack of actions in this area by the previous government, which has led to an increase in housing prices.

The Minister of Roads and Urban Development added that housing cannot be built in one year; it takes time. However, we have been able to secure the land for one and a half million units so far, and I hope we can carry out the construction of 2 million units within two years.
