The Russian Foreign Minister is not optimistic about the revival of the JCPOA

Lavrov said at a press conference on the sidelines of the ASEAN Ministers’ meeting in Jakarta that the agreement had been exited, therefore, I am not very optimistic about the possibility of the JCPOA being resumed.

The Russian Foreign Minister said the JCPOA was simply destroyed by the United States when the new Biden administration took office. They said they were ready to return to the agreement, but instead of deciding to fully revive the resolution and the JCPOA itself, they have engaged in bargaining.
