Strange Poisoning in 3 Villages of Gilan Gharb

Alireza Nazari, the governor of Gilan Gharb, announced on Monday, December 5th, that 100 people from the three villages of Shirzadi, Niyan, and Qilan were poisoned.

According to Alireza Nazari, 30 students from the villages of Shirzadi, Niyan, and Qilan visited the clinic with gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting, and about 70 other residents of these villages also suffered from poisoning.

He added that some of these individuals self-treated at home without visiting medical centers and recovered, and those who went to clinics and hospitals were discharged after receiving medical services.

The governor of Gilan Gharb stated that the health network’s investigations showed that the village water is safe; however, the school was closed for one day, and investigations to find the cause of the incident are ongoing.
