Strike of workers in 110 industrial units in the first week of Ordibehesht

A labor news source reported on Thursday that workers went on strike in at least 110 industrial and production units in the first week of Ordibehesht.

On Thursday, the seventh of Ordibehesht, the Free Union of Iranian Workers released a list of these workshops and companies, stating that most of them are active in the oil, gas, petrochemical, steel, power plants, and copper mines industries.

The 1402 Iranian labor strikes, known as Campaign 1402 and Campaign 2010, refer to a series of strikes by workers from various companies protesting against the lack of wage increases, poor living conditions, the government’s disregard for their demands, and the unfulfilled promises of officials and authorities. These strikes began at the start of Ordibehesht and are ongoing.

Last week, numerous reports and videos of worker strikes in various cities and industrial units were published on social networks.
