According to Mr. Nejad Ali, gasoline consumption typically increases on some busy summer days, but statistics show that this winter season, gasoline consumption has been unprecedented.
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company has also called for fuel consumption management.
This year, the air in some Iranian cities has been very polluted, leading in some cases to the closure of several schools and restrictions on movement.
