The Chip War Between the US and China Intensifies

The chip war between the US and China has intensified

Bloomberg reports that the Biden administration intends to place more than 30 Chinese companies on the US blacklist, a move that seems to escalate the chip war between the two countries given the trade disputes between Beijing and Washington.

Previously, China’s Ministry of Commerce had announced that the country had filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization regarding the US’s control measures on chip exports to China.

In this regard, China’s Ministry of Commerce issued a statement calling on the US to adhere to normal economic trade between the two countries and not to disrupt the global supply chain of major industrial products, including semiconductors.
