The Economist: The Global Cost of Living Crisis is Not Over Yet

The British publication The Economist wrote in its latest issue that the global cost of living crisis is not over yet.

According to the Economist Intelligence Unit, which makes economic forecasts, although the average price of more than 200 commonly used goods and services has slightly decreased compared to the previous year, it is still higher than the trend from 2017 to 2021.

Last year, the average price of goods and services reached 81, but this year these prices have decreased to 74.

Also, in the ranking table of the world’s most expensive cities by this publication, Singapore and Zurich are at the top, followed by Geneva, New York, and Hong Kong.

For the ninth time in the past 11 years, Singapore has topped the table due to the high cost of commonly used goods and services.
