The New Year Bonus for Government Employees and Retirees Set at 1.8 Million Tomans

The New Year bonus for government employees and retirees has been set at one million eight hundred thousand tomans.

Executive bodies, armed forces, the Ministry of Intelligence, and the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran have been permitted to pay their employees a fixed amount of 18 million rials as the end-of-year bonus for the New Year in February of the current year, based on full-time service duration in 2022, from the approved budget of the executive bodies. Additionally, the end-of-year bonus for retirees, pensioners of the Social Security Organization, and other retirement funds, as well as martyrs and veterans, can also be paid as a fixed amount of 18 million rials, depending on the case, from the approved budget of the relevant retirement fund or executive body.
