The Parliament's Cultural Commission Does Not Approve Reza Salehi Amiri's Qualification

The Cultural Commission of the Parliament does not approve Reza Salehi Amiri’s qualifications.

The Cultural Commission of the Parliament announced that with a majority vote and after extensive review of his performance records, statements, and plans, they do not approve Reza Salehi Amiri’s qualifications for managing cultural heritage.

However, the Industries and Development Commission approved Mr. Salehi Amiri’s qualifications with a majority vote.

The proposed ministers do not need the approval of specialized commissions to receive a vote of confidence from the Parliament, and the voting in the commission is advisory.
