Trial of an Iranian Woman in Cologne
An Iranian woman, owner of a travel agency in the city of Cologne, is on trial for allegedly providing illegal services to immigration applicants from Iran. She is accused of passport forgery and bribing embassy and airport staff in exchange for large sums of money.
According to the local newspaper of Cologne, a 42-year-old Iranian woman and manager of a travel agency, which was operated from Tehran and Cologne, was arrested for illegal activities. She advertised a comprehensive and hassle-free migration package to Germany on the internet and, in exchange for a large sum of money from immigrants, engaged in passport forgery and bribing embassy and airport staff.
