According to the Times of Israel, Donald Trump, the Republican candidate in the U.S. elections, has told Benjamin Netanyahu that he wants the Gaza war to be over by the time he possibly enters the White House.

According to a former U.S. government official and an Israeli official, this message was first conveyed from Trump to Netanyahu when he hosted the Israeli Prime Minister in Florida in July.

While Trump has publicly told Netanyahu that he wants Israel to win the war quickly, Times of Israel sources have revealed for the first time the tone and timing of Trump’s message.
