Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf: Where has the parliament stopped the law on hijab and modesty?
The Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly implicitly denied the recent statements of one of the parliament members, saying it is fundamentally false that the Islamic Consultative Assembly has stopped the law related to modesty and hijab.
Today, the Islamic Consultative Assembly has announced its readiness. Previously, the Cultural Commission’s report on the performance of organizations in implementing the law on modesty and hijab, both affirmative and prohibitive, was read in the parliament. At least 32 organizations had been negligent. At that time, it was announced that we are ready to address any legislative gaps. Whether this proposal comes from the government or the judiciary, we will address it out of turn.
Fallahi: It is being said in the media that the parliament has stopped the law on modesty and hijab.
Fallahi, the representative of Hamedan, in his warning, said last night the Supreme Leader expressed his clear opinion on the issue of modesty and hijab, which became a decisive directive for the heads of the branches, and serious and urgent action must be taken.
