The United States is awaiting the outcome of Grossi’s trip to Iran.
Robert Malley, the US Special Representative for Iran, said on Friday, March 2nd, that his country is waiting for the results of the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s trip to Tehran.
Malley was referring to Rafael Grossi’s trip to Tehran on Saturday, March 3rd.
The US Special Representative for Iran, speaking at a meeting at a think tank in the US, mentioned the US government’s concern about the discovery of enriched uranium particles up to 84% and the need for explanations in this regard. We are waiting for the evaluation of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Malley stated that the Islamic Republic is not cooperating with the agency and there are still unanswered questions that Iran has not responded to.
This government official added that the Biden administration is regularly in contact with European countries and other countries concerned about the suspicious nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic.
