Amir Jadidi will play the role of Mansour Bahrami, the famous Iranian tennis player, in the biographical film of Mansour.

The French TV company, France TV, has acquired the global distribution rights of this film before production and is likely to sell it to various countries at the Cannes Film Festival this year. Romuald Boulanger, known for works like ‘On the Line’ starring Mel Gibson, is directing this film. It is a joint production of France and Britain, with Dawn McDaniel and Philip D. Leon co-writing the script.

At 68, Bahrami is one of the most famous Iranian tennis players in the world. Born in 1956 in Farahan, Markazi Province, he started playing tennis at the age of 13. He has participated in important competitions such as the Davis Cup, Gallia Cup, and the Asian Games in 1974 as Iran’s representative, where he became the champion of Asia. Bahrami commented on the movie, saying many people have told me that my life story is very cinematic, but it is an honor that a film is being made based on my life. Amir Javidi is an exceptional actor, he truly transforms himself for the role. The fact that he is a semi-professional tennis player is one of the great fortunes in this project.
