Possibility of closure of Opal Shopping Complex
Following the expansion of women removing compulsory hijab, the law enforcement authorities of the Islamic Republic have implemented new measures to increase pressure on opponents of compulsory hijab. These measures include sealing trade units and depriving women of public services.
As part of this plan, some restaurants owned by celebrities and large commercial complexes have received warnings and have been sealed for serving customers without compulsory hijab.
The management board of Opal Shopping Complex in Tehran has also received multiple warnings from the facilities department.
