The commemoration ceremony for the anniversary of Simin Daneshvar’s death was prevented from being held.

Jalal Al-Ahmad’s niece says that officials refrained from holding the commemoration ceremony for the late Simin Daneshvar at the Simin and Jalal Museum.

Mohammad Hossein Danaei, Jalal Al-Ahmad’s nephew, wrote in a note that the 18th of Esfand is the anniversary of the death of Dr. Simin Daneshvar, a shining star in contemporary literature who became known as the lady of Iranian fiction by writing the novel ‘Suvashun’.
