Bahrain announces readiness to improve bilateral relations with Iran

Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam emphasized in a meeting with an Iranian parliamentary delegation that the Bahraini government is ready to improve bilateral relations with Iran.

According to reports, the Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament says that the start of this negotiation process is underway between the two parties to resume passenger flights between the two countries.

The Daily Tribune website reported on Wednesday, March 14, that Al-Musallam made these remarks in a meeting with an Iranian parliamentary delegation on the sidelines of the 146th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly in Manama.

Mojtaba Rezakhah, the head of the Inter-Parliamentary Council of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, who chaired the Iranian delegation, emphasized in this meeting the commonalities between Iran and Bahrain in terms of cultural, historical, and religious aspects.
