Increase in red and yellow COVID-19 cities in Iran
The Ministry of Health in Iran has released the latest map of COVID-19 prevalence in the country, according to which the number of highly risky and relatively risky cities has increased.
According to this report, the number of cities with a red or highly risky status has increased from 13 to 19 cities.
However, the number of cities with an orange or risky status has decreased from 48 to 45 cities.
Furthermore, the number of cities with a yellow status has increased from 194 to 233, and the number of cities with a blue status has reached 151 from 193.
Prior to the Persian New Year holidays, various warnings were given regarding the resurgence of the COVID-19 virus in Iran, and experts had advised citizens to follow health guidelines during New Year gatherings.
