Formation of Legal Case against 3 Media Outlets and 3 Prominent Individuals

The Tehran prosecutor announced on Wednesday that in connection with the recent incidents of serial poisoning in schools and dormitories, the judiciary has pressed charges against the responsible managers of Hammihan 24, Shargh, and other media outlets, as well as individuals including Azar Mansouri, Sadegh Zibakalam, and Reza Kianian. A legal case has been filed in this regard.

This news comes one day after the increasing criticism against the government regarding the poisonings in schools and educational centers across the country. The head of the judiciary of the Islamic Republic has called for punishment for those who made certain statements on this matter.

However, the main issue of poisoning in schools, mostly affecting girls, has been going on for nearly four months, yet the authorities have not provided any satisfactory explanations to concerned families.
