Approval of renaming three metro stations and 11 intersections in the Tehran City Council

In the 138th session of the Tehran City Council, the names of three metro stations and 11 intersections were changed with 20 affirmative votes.

In the Tehran City Council meeting, the renaming of the following metro stations was approved: the intersection of Ayatollah Kashani Street and Allameh Jafari Highway, which will be renamed to Allameh Mohammadtaghi Jafari Metro Station; the intersection of Ayatollah Kashani Street and Jannatabad South Boulevard, which will be renamed to Ayatollah Kashani Metro Station; and Chaharbagh Square, which will be renamed to Chaharbagh Metro Station.
