Snapp loses complaint case filed by Tap30
With the decline in the market for internet taxis in Iran, competition among internet taxi companies has heated up, and now a complaint about this competition has made headlines.
The Competition Council in Iran has stated that the internet taxi company, Tap30, has won the complaint case against its competitor, Snapp.
In this case, Tap30 claimed that Snapp had purchased 1,000 SIM cards and used them to create user accounts in order to access the contact information of about 14,000 Tap30 drivers and offer them higher salaries to hire them for itself.
Snapp has not yet shown any reaction to this decision by the Competition Council.
If this decision stands, according to the ruling of the Competition Council of Iran, Snapp must stop this practice and, in addition, give its excess profits to its competitor, Tap30, and also pay a fine in this regard.
