International media reported on Sunday, February 28th, that an armed individual or individuals carried out a shooting in the city of Hamburg in northern Germany, resulting in at least 6 deaths and 7 injuries.

This attack took place on Friday evening in a church in the Groß Borstel district.

Holger Wern, police spokesperson, stated that it is unclear whether the attacker(s) have fled the scene and they may have been killed.
