Hamed Esmaeili's Suppression of Prison Protests and Torture is a Concern for Iranians

Hamid Esmaeili’s concern is the suppression of protests, imprisonment, and torture in Iran.

Hamid Esmaeili, one of the opposition figures in the Islamic Republic, tweeted on International Workers’ Day, stating that the suppression of strikes and protests, imprisonment, and torture are replacing the right to form organizations and go on strike, which are the concerns of many Iranians who see the solution in overthrowing the corrupt government of the Islamic Republic.

In this tweet, he mentioned that International Workers’ Day is approaching in Iran while many Iranian workers are either in prison or on strike. Some of them have been fighting for their rights for decades, and some have lost their lives in the past seven months of struggle.

Today is International Workers’ Day.
