Some of their friends were able to meet with security institutions with their consent. However, some of these individuals were deprived of meeting with Mehdi Karoubi due to their political activities.

A prominent example is Mr. Elyas Hazrati, who was unable to meet due to the articles published by Etemad newspaper about recent protests. Hazrati has been banned from meeting for about 7 months.
