The Finnish government resigned

The Finnish government has resigned.

Sanna Marin, the Prime Minister of Finland and the leader of the Social Democratic Party, officially submitted her government’s resignation to President Sauli Niinistö after the defeat in the parliamentary elections. Finland, a recent member of NATO, presented its resignation.

It is expected that the new Finnish government will be formed before mid-summer.
