Two female students have been expelled from school.
The Student Council Channel has reported that Saba Eskandari has been banned from attending school for two semesters due to her refusal to comply with compulsory hijab. According to the report, she is a student advisor at the University of Tehran.
The report indicates that the university’s disciplinary council has condemned her to two semesters of academic suspension, taking into account her previous violations of Islamic dress code or the Ministry’s dress regulations. It is mentioned in the report that this punishment is the maximum possible sentence intended to reprimand this student.
It has also been reported from Kharazmi University that Samin Nasari, a history undergraduate student, has received a disciplinary sentence.
According to the decision of the disciplinary committee of this university, she has been temporarily banned from studying for one semester, with her previous violations taken into account.
The Student Council Channel has stated that this student had lost her previous semester due to a prohibited entry and was able to return to the university after a few weeks of being barred from entry in the current semester. However, during the final weeks of the term, the university put maximum pressure on this student through communication.
