The Director General of the Atomic Energy Agency meeting with Ibrahim Raisi
Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, met with Ibrahim Raisi during his visit to Tehran.
During this meeting, Raisi told Mr. Grossi that the agency should act based on legal behavior and observe the principle of impartiality in expressing the peaceful nuclear activities of Iran and clarifying our country’s commitment to the laws.
Currently, there is a discrepancy between the agency and Iran regarding the discovery of 84% enriched uranium traces and the finding of natural uranium particles in three different centers in Iran, which were not previously disclosed to the agency.
Mr. Grossi arrived in Tehran yesterday and, in addition to meeting with the Prime Minister, also met with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Board of Governors of the agency is holding a meeting in Vienna from Monday, and Iran is on its agenda, as it has been in recent years.
