We have a head of the Nursing Organization who, if we had the power, these deaths would not happen

We have a situation where the head of the Nursing Organization says that if we had enough staff, these deaths wouldn’t occur.

Mirzabeygi has stated that out of the 25,000 new recruits that the ministry is trying to attract, only 5,000 will go to nurses.

Ideally, we should have 25 nurses per hospital bed in a 24-hour period, including shifts. However, even in hospitals in the northern part of Tehran, sometimes we only have 0.5 nurses per bed.

Due to the lack of staff, we sometimes have preventable deaths. If we had enough staff, these incidents wouldn’t happen and people wouldn’t have to fight for their rights.
