The Iranian Environmental Organization has spotted 18 Asian leopard herds this year

This year, the Iranian Environmental Organization has spotted 18 Asian leopard individuals.

Gholamreza Abdali, the Director of the Wildlife Conservation and Management Office of the Iranian Environmental Organization, stated that in the year 1401, six female leopards with 10 cubs and two male leopards were observed and recorded.

According to him, we have better and good statistics regarding the observation of new leopards compared to previous years.

Mr. Abdali also mentioned the status of two female leopard cubs, Turan and Azar, stating that they are present in Turan National Park and are in good health. These two cubs are healthier than their similar-aged counterparts, such as Peyruz, and do not have digestive issues like him.
