Maryam Abbadi, the daughter of Abbas Abbadi, has been arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence, according to the news website Emtedad.

Emtedad news website reports that Maryam Abbadi, a civil activist, was arrested this morning at her home by the authorities.

According to this report, the authorities have also confiscated Ms. Abbadi’s electronic devices and taken them with them.

She is the daughter of Abbas Abbadi, a political activist and journalist, and it is said that she has been arrested in connection with the case of Mehdi Yarahi, a composer and singer.

Mr. Yarahi, who was arrested for singing the song ‘Your Scarf’ during the first anniversary of the nationwide protests in 2022, was recently released from Evin Prison on bail.
