The spokesperson of the Iranian Medical Organization states that migration has doubled compared to before the coronavirus.
The spokesperson of the Iranian Medical Organization says that the migration rate of the medical community has almost doubled compared to the years before the coronavirus.
According to Jamaran website, Reza Larijani states that we cannot announce the exact statistics of migration, but he mentions that the migration of the medical community is less compared to engineering fields. If there are one hundred medical entrants, maybe twenty of them go abroad. However, if there are seventy engineering entrants in a top university like Sharif University or Tehran University, it is certain that more than sixty of them have left, and maybe all seventy have gone.
He talks about the migration of the medical community and says that besides specialized doctors, specialists, and general practitioners, other medical professionals such as pharmacists, midwives, optometrists, audiologists, physiotherapists, and other medical fields are also currently migrating to foreign countries. The majority of them are going to countries in the Persian Gulf region, American countries like Canada, European countries, and also Australia.
