The spokesperson for the US State Department said that the Truth Commission must investigate the poisoning incidents.

Ned Price, the spokesperson for the US State Department, stated that if it is determined that the poisonings are related to the protests by women and girls, then the United Nations is obligated to send a Truth Commission to Iran to investigate these poisonings.

It has been nearly four months since hundreds of students, mostly girls, have been transferred to hospitals in various cities in Iran with symptoms of poisoning.

Despite increasing concerns from families, no decision has been made to switch to remote learning in schools.
