Foreign trips to Iran decreased by 10%

Foreign trips to Iran have decreased by 10%.

According to the announcement by the Airports and Air Navigation Company in Iran, the number of international travels in February last year (1401) decreased compared to February of the year 1400.

The company stated that international flights had a 1% decrease in departures and arrivals of passengers, a 10% decrease in sending and receiving passengers, and a 14% decrease in sending and receiving cargo and mail.

The final days of February coincide with the Nowruz holidays, during which some citizens choose to travel domestically and internationally.

This statistic is released at a time when Iran’s economy has experienced turbulent days in recent months. The exchange rate of the dollar reached over 60,000 tomans in the free market in February, which likely had a direct impact on the decrease in foreign trips.

On the other hand, the severity of living conditions and intensified inflation have also led to a decrease in recreational trips.
