We, the labor union of the company ‘Vahed’, demand the freedom of Reza Shahabi.
On Saturday, the labor union of the Tehran and Suburban Bus Company, simultaneously with the passing of 300 days since the detention and imprisonment of Reza Shahabi, a labor activist and member of this union, has called for his freedom by publishing statements on their Telegram channel.
In this statement, the labor union demands that the harassment and mistreatment of Reza Shahabi and his family must end. Reza Shahabi should be immediately transferred to a hospital for essential treatment and be released unconditionally.
The labor union of the Tehran and Suburban Bus Company demands the immediate and unconditional release of Reza Shahabi, as well as other imprisoned members of the union, Hassan Saeedi and Davoud Razavi, and all imprisoned labor and teaching activists, as well as political prisoners.
