We have reached a point in our narrative about Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman where the narrative line intersects with the US political and sporting policy line of Donald Trump. We have reached the year 2015, which was the beginning of one of the strangest election battles in American history, as Republican candidates competed to secure their party’s nomination for the 2016 elections.
Trump enters the scene
In mid-June 2016, Donald Trump called upon reporters and the public, and in historic scenes accompanied by Melania, he descended the escalator to the ground floor of his tower to announce his candidacy for the presidency of the United States. These moments and the famous title of “historic escalator” were added to American literature and political discourse. Trump’s remarks on that day were full of insults towards racial minorities, especially Latinos, as well as derogatory comments and threats towards Muslims, and strange and insulting criticism of Barack Obama.
That special day, and for weeks afterwards, a smile did not leave the lips of Democrats, social activists, liberals, and various American news and entertainment media. They all considered Trump’s campaign to be a joke and an interesting circus. Over time, signs of attention towards Trump emerged, and it became clear that people were following him. His election rallies gradually arrived, one after another, becoming the busiest and most attractive election events. In the same months of June and July, Trump had made himself more prominent. However, no one took him seriously, but those who should have taken him seriously had already made their decision.
Vladimir Putin and his subordinate structure were determined in advance to provide maximum support to Trump and bring him to power in America at any cost and with any means. Their assistance to him had already begun with destructive plans on social networks and special network planning. Apart from Vladimir Putin, special individuals also entered the scene in a land much hotter than Moscow.
Rare like a phoenix
One of the most important events in American politics in the past decade is the official investigation into foreign interference and the Trump campaign’s relations with other countries in shaping the 2016 presidential election.
