Manouchehr Bakhtiari has gone on a hunger strike.
Sara Abbasi, the wife of Manouchehr Bakhtiari, has announced on her Instagram that her husband has been on a three-day hunger strike in prison.
She wrote that Manouchehr Bakhtiari, in a brief two-minute phone call, told her that due to being banned from communication and visitation for over a year, despite being ill and in need of surgery, he has decided to go on a three-day hunger strike.
According to this report, despite more than a year passing since the Supreme Court’s letter for the release of Manouchehr Bakhtiari, he is still in prison.
