Mehrab Qasemkhani announced his summons on Instagram, stating that he is being summoned on charges of promoting against the regime. He wrote, ‘On one hand, the highest authorities of the government say that criticizing is a good thing, but on the other hand, they define it as a crime such as actions against security, promoting against the regime, and disturbing public minds. This really confuses people. My suggestion is to publish a guidebook containing the individuals and things we can criticize, along with phrases we can use as references. This way, whenever we have criticism, we can use it as a reference and not be accused of anything.’
