Defense Minister: We do not need to buy S-400

We do not need to buy the S-400, says the Minister of Defense.

In the field of missile combat, we aim for effective offensive and tactical capabilities, as well as resilience in cyber warfare and covert operations. We have the capability to design and build ballistic missiles with a range of 2,000 kilometers.

We have plans to employ artificial intelligence technology for both collective and individual flights of manned fighters.

Regarding the purchase of Su-35 fighter jets from Russia, this matter is still being pursued and no equipment has been received so far.

As for the purchase of the S-400 air defense system from Russia, we have a strong relationship with the country. However, we have achieved self-sufficiency in the field of defense weapons. If necessary, we can acquire weapons, but currently, we do not need any additional weapons, and many countries are interested in our Bavar-373 air defense system.
